For the installation at Treviglio, the German manufacturer manroland Plauen put back together part of the team which a year previously had worked on the Il Sole 24 Ore project, … including me!
The machine being installed was a Uniset rotary press for printing 64 tabloid pages, 32 of them in colour. In 2010 the company was to carry out an upgrade by installing a further printing unit plus an eight-couple tower in order to achieve 64-page production in full colour.
