Working with the French... and the Swedes!
2011 was the year of the installation of GOSS at Busto Arsizio, which was made special by the fact that, unlike all the other installations, I would be working with French and Swedish technicians, and no longer using German but the lingua franca, English.
In this case, too, I worked both with the printers and with mechanics and electricians, supporting the technicians not only of GOSS but also of Megtech (for the reel splicers) and of Q.I. Press Controls (for the automatic register control).
In the case of this Dutch company, a leading supplier of optical measurement and control systems for reel to reel printing machines, I have done all the translations of brochures, technical manuals, corporate reviews, videos, marketing material and press releases for the Italian market for the last ten years, and I am responsible for coordinating a team of colleagues for translating into other foreign languages.
In 2014 QIPC acquired another of my clients in the print sector, the German EAE Ewert Ahrensburg Electronic GmbH, supplier of controls, automation solutions, and software for newspaper printers.
